Dear Members

The Club implemented a policy a month ago to close the golf course for play by 7.45pm daily. It is truly with much regret that this policy which was instituted for the safety of members was called into question for a mere 15 minutes of playing time for evening 9-hole players.

Therefore, with effect from 1 September 2021, the closing time of the golf course will be reinstated to 8.00pm daily. Upon activation of the Club siren at 8.00pm, the floodlights will be turned off. All golfers must discontinue their games and proceed back to Clubhouse immediately.

Golfers who fail to adhere to this policy will be referred to the Disciplinary Sub-Committee for further action.

Dear Members

With the easing of Safe Management Measures (SMM), the Golf Sub-Committee has reviewed the pace of play situation at Hole 4 and has decided to reinstate the compulsory call-on at Hole 4 with effect from 21 August 2021.

Golfers are required to continue to observe all aspects of SMM (eg. social distancing of 3m between flights) during their golf games.

The Club will monitor the situation and conduct a review again should there be any updates on SMM guidelines from the authorities.
