About the Trainer:
Mrs Lily Hayashida-Chee graduated from Edith Cowan University in 2013 (Masters in Social Science in Counselling & Psychotherapy). She is still busy at work and helps babysit her two grandchildren during weekends. She is amazed with how kids can be nurtured through such art experimental programmes at their early stages of development.
She has devoted herself to learning various art media such as Chinese Calligraphy, Chinese Ink and Watercolour painting for the past 15 years. She is currently doing her private practice as a counsellor to individuals, serving the Japanese expatriate community. She is also actively involved in volunteering her services to Voluntary Welfare Organisations, offering counselling sessions to individuals and groups since 2014.
Mrs Hayashida-Chee served as a training coach in art workshops at the Singapore Association for Mental Health from 2015 to 2016. This had helped the clients to feel more expressive and satisfying at the end of each session. She had also conducted art sessions (a water colour tutorial programme) to students at a Family Service Centre.
